Need to Know Before You Go
Safety Standards
Your safety is paramount. All rafting and bungee operators in Jinja adhere to strict international safety protocols. You will be provided with high-flotation life jackets, helmets, and accompanied by a fleet of safety rescue kayaks.
What to Wear & Pack
For river activities, wear quick-drying clothes or swimwear. Avoid cotton. Sunscreen and securely strapped water sandals are essential. Leave all valuables (phones, passports) secured in the lockers provided at the basecamp.
Logistics & Timing
Jinja is located approximately 2 to 3 hours east of Kampala. It serves as an excellent final stop on your itinerary, allowing you to easily transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
